This is my basic exercise of Adobe Flash.
Firstly, open Adobe Flash CS5.
After the loading finished, it will came out a window like below.
Click ActionScript 3.0 to start my exercise.
After clicking it, a working space will come out.
- Stage. Anything out of stage will not be seen after the works is done.
- Library. Import everything you wanted to use into it.
- Time line. Decide on how many frames per second and place picture.
Exercise requirement:
We need a dimension size of 400pixels x 250pixels,
12 fps ( Frames per second) and only 4 second time.
So firstly, right click the Stage, and choose Document Properties.
Then, a small window will come out, change the Dimension size
to 400px for Width and 250px for Height.
After create a Stage,
now is time to import the things we wanted to put inside into the Library.
Click File > Import > Import to Library.
After that, a small window will come out, select the Items you need and click OK.
And then, All your items will be imported to the Library window.
Now, it is time to start our Time Line.
Here are the Important Shortcut Key:
F5 = Insert Frames.Insert the amount of frames you want.
F6 = Convert to Key Frame.Seperate or start another frames.
V = Selection Tools.Select items.
Q = Free Transform Tools. Free Transformation.
Ctrl + T = Transform. For details Transformation.
After known these shortcut key, we can start our works now.
Firstly, I create and name the layer as Background.
Sets the fps (Frame per second) into 12.0fps.
After that I open my library and choose my background picture,
Click and drag the picture direct into the stage.
Background formed now.
After that, start to create frames for my background picture.
For requirement, I need to produce a 4 sec product.
So, 12 fames per second, I have to make total 48 frames for background picture.
I click at the frame 48, and then press F5.
Result is the background frame now has extended to frame 48.
Which now the background picture will remain for 4 sec.
